Recently, the Dunhuang Gobi Challenge came to a successful conclusion. Nord Anglia School Guangzhou Panyu set off for this highly challenging event for the fourth time. All participating team members lived up to their mission, returned victorious, and wrote a passionate chapter belonging to NAS Guangzhou with perseverance and striving.
Before the event, the school held a grand send-off ceremony for the participating team members to cheer on the high-spirited "Tiger Team", conveying the school's expectations and blessings, and encouraging the team members to bravely forge ahead and surpass themselves on the Gobi.
In this event, the team members braved the desolation and hardships of the Gobi, successfully challenging a 70-kilometer hiking journey in 3 days. They persisted in the wind and sand, moved forward in exhaustion, measured perseverance with their steps, and interpreted responsibility with their sweat.
Honors are well-deserved, living up to the glorious youth. Among them, both the Swift Wind Tiger Team and the Sky White Tiger Team won the three-day gold medal and were successfully rated as "Gold Standard Teams"; the NAS Tiger Team, with its outstanding performance, won both the Team Spirit Award and the highest honor of the event—the Shackleton Award, fully demonstrating the team cohesion and tenacious fighting spirit of NAS Guangzhou students.
During the event, teachers and students of the whole school watched the live broadcast online in real time and cheered remotely, cheering for the participating team members across mountains and seas, and jointly witnessed every wonderful moment when the team members rose to the challenge and surpassed themselves. This passion and glory belonging to all NAS Guangzhou people is not only a precious mark of the personal growth of the team members, but also has become a warm and inspiring collective memory on campus, encouraging every NAS Guangzhou person to forge ahead bravely.
赛事出征前，学校为参赛队员隆重举办出征仪式，为这支斗志昂扬的“猛虎战队”壮行助威，传递学校的期许与祝福，鼓励队员们在戈壁之上勇闯敢拼、突破自我。
此次赛事中，队员们不畏戈壁的荒芜与艰辛，成功挑战了3天70公里的徒步征程，在风沙中坚守，在疲惫中前行，用脚步丈量坚持，用汗水诠释担当。
荣耀加身，不负韶华
其中，疾风猛虎战队、苍穹白虎战队全员斩获三日金牌，成功获评“金标战队”；广诺猛虎战队凭借出色的表现，同时荣获团队风采大奖与赛事最高荣誉——沙克尔顿奖，充分彰显了广诺学子的团队凝聚力与顽强的拼搏精神。
赛事期间，全校师生通过线上直播实时观赛、云端助威，跨越山海为参赛队员加油鼓劲，共同见证了队员们迎难而上、突破自我的每一个精彩瞬间。这份属于全体广诺人的热血与荣耀，不仅是队员们个人成长的珍贵印记，更成为了校园里一段温暖而励志的集体回忆，激励着每一位广诺人奋勇前行
